Peyto Lake is one of the top must-do stops along the Icefields Parkway. The view from atop the valley is one of the most striking vistas in the Rockies. It is no surprise the parking lots are full all day. On a recent camping trip on the Parkway, we had the opportunity to take in this view from the old lookout during the early evening. The sun was still high in the sky, the crowds had left and we were able to enjoy the views with just a handful of other visitors.

 

Important note: Due to the dimensions of this painting, it will be removed from its stretcher bars and rolled in a tube to be shipped. When it arrives at its destination, it can be re-stretched by any local framing shop. If you have questions or need assistance with this process, please get in touch. The painting will remain stretched if picked up or delivered locally.
